The biggest problem is when people start to think of any animal as being human.

I've owned Pacmans and they are awesome frogs! As a matter of fact... all frogs are great
!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!

Does anyone "hear" thier frogs tell you thier name? I bought a tarantula some years ago and I could hear his name before he even arrived! My mantids tell me thier names.
I dont hear it with my ears, I hear it inside, somewhere in both my chest and in my head. Ive heard of others who can but I am curious if anyone here does too.

I hear them inside me. It hard to explain. Ive heard others talk about doing it. Only once have I heard a name before my pet arrived. Most of the time I hear the name well after they get here. Some never have a name. But thats my mantids. So I call them sweetheart or in the case of one male ghost mantis, Little Sweet Man. He is funny, he plays dead! I go along with so I dont hurt his feelings.
No animal is human nor does it speak like we do with a complex language, but there are many animals that communicate through sound, body language, and subtle gestures. Pacman frogs communicate through sound and body language. They even use their hind hind feet as a lure to capture prey.
You can actually tell their mood and how they feel by their eyes.
Horned frogs are regal. I love the way they look, they have the stunning look of a sumo-wrestler. They look dull and boring at first glance, but once you see them pounce on prey or move around, they will enchant you.
