There are many types of heating methods.

If you have a water feature in your viv then I would use a combo of a adjustable submersible heater for aquarium use.
st to 75F min. and a max of 77F
don't skimp on this item.

Then for heat I use a head pad applied to a ceramic tile placed under the viv.
Never place a heat pad directly on the bottom glass of a viv.
many bad things can happen from burning your frogs (if they burrow) and shattering the bottom glass
if it gets hot and water gets into contact with it.

Zoo med makes good heat pads and controls.
I prefer the automatic controller the zoo med hygrotherm HT-10
It almost does it all.
It can control a mister or fogger for humidity and heat sources for temp control.
it can even do a night time cool down.
