    You should usually wait for 2-3 days for everything to settle down. Once the water clears up then you could start doing some water testing and conditioning.

    The water really cleared up after the second water change and letting it sit over night with the filter. It's clear enough to see everything in the tank and doesn't look dirty at all.
    Safe to add?

    Have you tested the water specs? Sounds to me like it's okay but better safe

    The water specs look great, but like there is obviously no animals living in there. I feel pretty confident that I got all of the sand cleaned, when doing the water change I siphoned the gravel pretty well. I'm doing one more partial water change (2 L) then adding them back to their home.

    Does anyone know if API root tabs plus iron is alright for the frogs? I'm getting my plants soon and want to know if I can use them.
