Made a 4 1/2 hr. trip to S. Oklahoma yesterday to see American alligators at Red Slough Wildlife Mgmt. area. Got lucky sighting of 3 adults and one baby. They are sort of captive as they live in old rice fields converted into wetlands. One of the guys on the trip keeps and raises alligators in the city and has the permission and paperwork from state wildlife officials. Just thought I'd throw this out here.
