How big is the tank you keep Crocodylus porosus in?
Holy ****, a saltie!!! If the crocodile getting enough UVB? What are you feeding it?
yes this is a saltwater Crocodile
in my place commonly called (buaya muara)
for UVB,, every morning I sunbathe
because in Indonesia is quite hot so I'm just hanging around 15 to 30 minutes
saltie usually eat fish, crickets, mealworms, meat broiler, any rat that he is very greedy
I gotta admit that I have been messing with the idea of digging a 1/2 acre lake on my property and building a crocodile enclosure.
show me all his cages pictures here

Paul, I don't think the PNW is a place to raise crocodiles outside. At least not year round. They are more cold sensitive then American alligators. That's what stops me from having one. If I lived in Florida I would have an alligator and maybe some crocodiles, most likely Crocodylus niloticus.
Yes, it would be, but you will have to move southern Florida to make that dream come true.
what if my house is just a lot of options to preserve what was here lolContribute

Made a 4 1/2 hr. trip to S. Oklahoma yesterday to see American alligators at Red Slough Wildlife Mgmt. area. Got lucky sighting of 3 adults and one baby. They are sort of captive as they live in old rice fields converted into wetlands. One of the guys on the trip keeps and raises alligators in the city and has the permission and paperwork from state wildlife officials. Just thought I'd throw this out here.![]()
I used to work with alligators at the MoS. I have handled Crocodylus niloticus & siamensis.
