Hey again!
I've pretty much planned most of my Exo-Terra 18x18x24 build (in my head and on paper ) however there was one thing i need help on and that's relating to the substrate, I plan on housing a pair of dart frogs (D.Tinc or P.Terebilis not sure yet) in a planted vivarium and im trying to buy either everything from one source if it has to be bought online or from a local pet shop and well im looking for a good alternative to ABG mix that i can get at like a Petco/Petsmart or a substrate mix i can make on my own with multiple ingredients.
Thanks
If looking for a one stop internet store; Josh Frogs is probably your best shot. For ideas on how to make your own ABG type soil recipe; search the forum and/or internet. There are many recipes with ingredient variations out there .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
There are many different recipes.

They are pretty similar. I still don't have a planted terrarium but am considering to plant my 2 new terrariums. My Friend has one and is using 2 parts tree fern fiber, 2 parts orchid, 1 part coco and 1 part milled moss and the plants are doing good and i'm considering into building it with the same mixture.

Is there any other substitute to the tree fern fiber?
