ACF behavior

One seems to enjoy swimming around quite a bit for awhile, then stays in a spot for a bit, only to bolt somewhere else. The other seems more laid back, hiding in the plants or the other hiding areas I provided.

The tank has some fake plants to give cover so I don't think the more active one feels threatened.

Do ACFs have different personalities? I think it would seem more likely than not, but I figured if this is not the case someone may have knowledge as to why one seems more laid back and the other is a bit of a spazz.

They most certainly do. You'll find that ALL animals have differing personalities amongst their own species. Even down to little things like spiders.

Really? I have an air pump and stone I haven't been using, but I had heard in some care articles that it may cause too strong of a current. Unfortunately, this was kind of an ACF/ADF article so maybe they were talking about the smaller ones.

I've definitely found mine in interesting positions around the tank. It makes me sad to see them moved to the smaller one, although very temporarily.

Maybe because bubbles are interesting to them i dunno but if you have that round air pump diffuser that produces fine bubbles, they love swimming among the bubbles and against the light water current for minutes a day. Once they get tired they just sit at some quiet corner
