Hi im new on the forum so hii! i juast had a question...... i have a blue daylight bulb by zoomed for some near future whites tree frogs. it provides uva but no uvb. is the uvb necessary and id this and the night bulb at nught enough? please answer honestly cuz i want top of the line care for thes new frogs. Thanks!
my fella's preffer the heat/light combo bulbs. and seem far more active because of them both some times of day and esp night. remeber getting proper lighting is helpfull for calcium absorbtion for the little frogglettes. But im by far an expert. Some others can gladly chime in.
White's do not require UV light. They get enough calcium by having their food dusted. Any light you have is for display or plant lighting.
As I understand it, as long as it is not full daytime lighting, it won't bother the frogs. Color doesn't really matter.
