Hello and welcome to FF! Nice job saving Jeremiah
!
Hi! New to this forum, I generally post at the Pangea forums- my herp collection is mostly geckos. However, over the summer I rescued an American bullfrog. A customer at the pet shop I work at kept talking about how he was going to kill his pet African bullfrog(it ate too much, made too much noise, took up too much room). After a few weeks of him & his roommate saying how they'd crush it, rip its legs off etc, I told them I would take it. A few weeks later they brought it in. It was kept in a 10 gallon tank, filled with 6-7 inches of filthy water. I could smell it from about 6 feet away. I immediately recognized it as a American, and started cleaning the tank. There was a good 2 inches of mud, feces and dead insects at the bottom. Yuck! I cleaned it up & kept him in quarantine for a long time. Took him about a month to start eating. Anyway, I'm now setting up a 75 gallon tank for him(his name is Jeremiah). I'm looking forward to posting about his enjoyment of the new habitat.![]()
