Frog is puffy like a ballon

18. have feed crickets as main diet and on rare occasion very small horn worms but it has been a few months size I fed those I buy a dozen and when they are eaten ( usually about a week) I put in another dozen.

You temp is too low. Needs to be 80° to 82° during the day. 78° at night. Your water is literally killing your frog. RO water is okay for misting, but will actually leach tbe vitamins and electrolytes out of your frog. Use dechlorinated tap water.

Go out and buy some Unflavored Pedialyte and make an 80° bath of Dechlorinated water. For every 10 ouncea of dechlorinated water add one ounce unflavored pedialyte. Soak the frog for 20 minutes per day. The bath depth needs to be only half the height of the frog or chin deep.

Welcome to FF and sorry your frog is not well . Your frog might recover if you take Colleen/Jerrod advice and correct the water/temperature issue now. Pacmans that have been kept in too cold environment for a long period develop permanent kidney and lymph hearts issues. The edema your frog presents is a symptom of that and even though it can get better once temperature gets up, the organ damage is permanent and will shorten your frog's life. If edema is really bad and does not let frog use it's legs; might want to consider a visit to a veterinary with exotics/herp experience to have vet drain the fluid.

If you used R/O water for mixing the soil; need to replace with shredded coco mixed with dechlorinated tap. The water dish should be cleaned out daily even if it looks unused.

Try and get some plain (no dyes) night crawlers at Walmart or a bait shop. Can cut them to frogs length from pointy end and offer to frog by dropping in front and see if it will take them. Also, can try tong feeding by lightly rubbing worm on frogs lips. If you can find Fluker's ReptaBoost locally, recommend dust the worms with it during the first couple feedings, to help nourishing your frog. I changed to baby water. No fluoride or sodium. I have well water with softener salt so I can't use my water out of the tap which is why I was using the RO water. I did a pedalyte bath for 20 min at 80 degrees. I added a heat lamp to get the cage up to 80. I couldn't find reptiboost so I rolled a worm in calcium with d3. He did not eat it but he is probably aggravated from the bath. I left it right in front of him and will check back later to see if he eats it. I also sprayed the substrate with the baby water. The substrate is pretty dry so I made sure to get it very damp. Thanks for the help. I will update you on his condition. Hopefully he will start eating again soon. He does not look any less bloated than before.

Make sure the baby water contains no chlorine.

What is a baby water you are using exactly? It is not just water issue, it might be vitamin deficiency too, you used only ca/d3.

I really really hope he will get better, but it seems his condition is pretty serious, I would find a vet ASAP and take him there.

The pedialyte baths seem to be helping. His legs are less swollen and he is more active. He is even swimming a bit in his baths. I still cannot get him to eat though. I tried rubbing worms on his mouth and I've tried putting them in front of him and turning off the lights hoping the dark would make him more comfortable. Do you have any other suggestions to get him to eat? He doesn't even seem interested. The water is water with minerals but no chlorine. I add reptisafe to it just incase.
