    Question Vivarium silicon.

Hi FF, im building a vivarium with a great stuff background, ive let it dry out and carved it out, ive already applied a layer of silicon to the background and added my dry cocoa fiber. When i tip my aquarium over and see that there are bare spots, may i add silicon to those spots or would it not be safe?

Problem with putting silicone on silicone is that silicone sticks to darn near anything, EXCEPT previously cured silicone. It may adhere temporarily, but it will fall off eventually. Most like after the second or third misting after water has gotten behind it.

That is too much work Ryan...do the Titebond III wood glue and coco fiber mixture over the bare spots. Mix the two together (think gloopy oatmeal) and apply onto what you already have!

What she said ^. Short of pulling it all apart, that is your best option.
