Welcome to frog forum. You have been given a lot of helpful info. You are correct in that species should not be mixed. Either of your suggested choices would make wonderful first frogs. I personally have azureus and they are really great beginner frogs as I am pretty new to PDF keeping myself. Whatever you get, please do not forget to quarantine. There is a wonderfully helpful thread by Lynn on quarantining procedures. Most helpful. Good luck and have fun With your frogs.
