I'm pretty sure it is Argintine. Maybe its both?
Then I wonder how it's possible for me to own 2 WC cranwelli's. The stores both came from even admits they are WC, so I don't get it. Might be because I'm in Belgium?
Now I'm really confused Grif or did you make a typo? "You are right though. All babies on the market of C. cranwelli are CB." Or did you mean the American market? Because a local pet store still gets shipments of WC cranwelli.
wCYes, but cranwelli specifically are called the Chacoan Horned Frog and Ornata are known as the Argentine Horned Frog. Is this a debate over who knows more about Horned Frogs or something?
Hynotic- The majority of all Horned Frogs in the Pet trade are CB. There will occationally be WC specimens appear for sale at some Mom and Pop stores. Big Chains usually deal with a breeder or wholesaler who aquires their frogs from a breeder. Note that wholesalers will aquire WC as well sometimes. It is difficult to tell from the babies, but WC adults look much different than those that are CB.
