Hope someone with expertise on South-east Asian frogs enlighten me with this little guy or girl.
It's about 1cm long from snout to vent and i could say this is an adult already as there are 4mm adult phased frogs already (this could be males though.)
They were found in a mountain stream at Mt. Banahaw, Luzon, Philippines
They feed well on drosophilas and pinhead crickets.

Hi:
I am not an expert on Asian frogs, but I am willing to guess that the frog is from the genus Platymantis. There is a particular frog that is only found on Mt. Banahaw that closely resembles your frog - Platymantis naomii.

That was my initial thought as well. Right on spot then. Thanks! Very difficult frogs to capture, they can project 2 feet in any direction and with their small size they are hard to keep track of![]()
