It's finally, yes finallllly, time to build my vivariums. I'm surprised my frogs aren't holding up real estate signs by now, lol!
I'll be building my two dart frog vivariums at the same time. One for my cobalts and one for my imitators.
My plants have been quarantined for 6-12 months, lol! Yes, not exaggerating. And my, now plentiful, collection of maponi wood has been bleach-soaked, rinsed several times, soaked in extra-dechlorinated water (twice), and then baked
. I know...over-kill, but nothing's too much for my babies
.
I had holes drilled into one low side of each tank for a drainage access tube and am ready to silicone them in.
I am finally ready to create the vivariums.
Being all major events in my life have currently passed, I should hopefully now have time.
I'll have questions for the plant kingwhen the time comes about using the titebond technique since this is new to me.
I'll update as I build.
Thanks for reading.
