Grey American green tree frog?

I bought another AGTF and I believe it's a male but honestly it's hard for me on this one to tell the gender! I named him Zeus. When he actually turns green I see the signs of a male but he has been a grey/silver color since I got him, which is weird! My other new one Maya was a pretty bright green but I've never had one that ever turned this color! Do you think it's just it's own color? I don't feel gut worried more curious!

My male stays on the darker side, more browns, some times even black with slight lines of green on his legs.

The odd thing is, he was brown at the store and in the container I brought him home in. He just stays grey. My other male turns the same green color as my females when he is awake but is brown when he sleeps. It's sooo weird!!
