So I got two new young retf and I bin leaving crickets but not sure if there eating . When ever I check on them there always at the top of the tank .
Should I get some fruit flys ?
I know they tend to climb the tank and plants .
im thinking its worth a try
the frogs are a couple months old I believe , the male is about a inch long and the female is a bit bigger .
i have thousands of crickets as I bread them for my other frogs so there always on hand
I don't have flys but could buy some I guess . Any thoughts ? Thanks
Yes, I do think he'll eat fruit flies. My little guy did when he was that size. He liked both Melanogaster and Hydei fruit flies.

You can use a glass bowl to put his pinhead crickets in. It should be about 1 1/2" tall so the crikets cant hop out. They learn to feed from the bowl. It's nice because you can keep track of how many crickets they've eaten. Remove any uneaten crickets in the morning and place in a bin so the crickets may eat (gut-load foods for the frogs). Don't forget your calcium and vita D 3 supplements.
