Red Nigerian Uromastyx

Does anyone know anything about Red Nigerian Uromastyx's ?

I walked into my local "Mom and Pop" Pet Shop today and he has Red and Yellow Nigerian Uromastyx's, OMG they are gorgeous, I fell in love instantly and I bought the Red one. I did NOT bring him home yet as I want to set up his tank and do some care research first.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

They like it HOT and they need it very dry. High output UVB lighting is a must....mercury vapor bulbs are gonna be your best bet.

Thanks, how about temperament? Can they be handled?

For the most part they are pretty docile and handleable, but of course some individuals have a feisty personality lol.
