Does not look like edema, appears more solid. What day/night temps are there in enclosure? In edema the fluid would move like in waves and give to your touch.

Can you please post pic of frog from above showing hips and legs. It might just be a very fat frog like you stated .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Edema is when an organism is holding water in their body. In the case of frogs, it can be caused by problems with kidneys or lymph hearts; usually by long term exposure to low temperatures. If either organ can't function normally to process and/or move fluids, they will collect in the body and it usually starts around the rear leg area. Edema feels squishy, not solid and in advance cases, you can actually see the fluid movement when pressing lightly with finger.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

these are fat deposits and from looks of it pretty normal, not too much. nothing to worry about.

Excellent explanation Carlos. I agree its not Edema.

Like Lija said it does just look like he has fat thighs Lol! Both are proportioned correctly.

I will say though that while 70° isn't terrible for a night time temp and that in the wild they are exposed to cooler temps you should try and keep the temp in the high 70°s at night and low to mid 80°s during the day.
