    Talking Columbus Reptile Show

We went to the Columbus Reptile Show this weekend for the first time. It wasn't as big as I hoped (about the same size as the Cincinnati one) and there were hardly any frogs. In fact we had walked through almost the entire thing and the only frogs we had seen were at one vendor who had about a dozen darts. Then three or four tables from the end we finally found some horned frogs. You can probably guess what happened from there!

Sure enough, one, two, three of them hitched a ride back to Cinci.

They had some greens, normal albinos, and strawberries. None of the latter two were too impressive and we have gotten quite a few albinos lately. So we picked out three greens. They were just labeled as "green pacmans" and the seller was just a middleman who didn't know much about them. I think we picked out some nice ones though.

The first is a normal green. She was the fattest one there and didn't seem stressed by all the surroundings, so home she came.

The second stood out because of his bright, unusual coloring. Another lady tried to scoop him up, but he wanted to come with me. His body is a yellowish/tan with pink tints and lime green stripes. I think he is quite unique and I am very excited to see how he turns out! (He wasn't too keen on having his picture taken though.)

Third and final, is another green variation. I found this little baby in the very, very back stacked under three other deli cups. He was super feisty and I fell in love right away. He is green with red splotches on his back, eyes, and face. He is the littlest of the three but packed full of personality!

All three of them settled right into their new homes. They ate several crickets each the first night and every night since. They had no problems taking from tongs either. I am very excited to have each of them in our frog family!
