    Default Sounds

I have a dwarf pixie frog, and when I asked here everyone said female. Last night I think she was making some sounds, I have heard this once before. The first time I heard it was the first night I got her. Last night I heard the same sound, coming from her tank. It sounds like a creaky door and only lasted a few seconds. When I checked on her she was sitting in her water dish like normal. Both times she made the sounds soon after all the lights were out, she's in my bedroom and I didn't hear anything after that one call. Has anyone heard females call? Is it common?

Hi Anna! A creaky door sound is probably made by frog scrapping rear feet against water dish .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I guess it could be, I'll have to see if I can re-create the sounds. I've only heard this sound twice, I would think if that was the case then I would hear it more often.

Yes, think they are trying to "dig down" in substrate as instinct would have them in the wild .
