Question Questions on changing substrate from Zoo Med Eco Earth Loose Coconut Fiber Substrate to soil

I have Pacman frog and Tomato frog and looking to change sub to soil, since both like to burrow and need high humidity. I want to put live plants in at least the Tomato frogs tank. i would for both but my Pacman is albino and i read UVB may be harmful, while on the other hand i have also read that it can benefit the Tomato frog. Am I informed right on the UVB lighting, and do i need it for live plants? What plants would work well for this? What brand soil(i know it should be additive free)? is this a good idea?

    Pacman
    Hum:75-80
    Temp: 80 dt 70-75 nt
    Lighting: 12 hrs red bulb

    Tomato
    Hum:70-80
    Temp: 75-80 dt 70 nt
    Lighting: 8hr hrs blue uvb

Think plants do better in soil than with other substrates. ABG type soil over a false bottom (provides drainage) is usually recommended for vivariums. Can mix your own (search ABG Soil on net) or buy it premixed from Josh Frogs. Plants do not need UV type lighting but many will tolerate it. What you need is a light source that will simullate daylight in the 5,000 to 6,500 spectrum range. Pothos are very tough plants and would work with either, specially if you drape some of it over back or sides (can use aquarium suction cups). Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
