I live in Florida as well and I have a HUGE cuban and two small ones and they eat crickets [gut loaded with Fluker's all in one] and they eat a TON. I buy a dozen large crickets and a dozen small crickets a week. I have also experienced trouble feeding night crawlers, but today I dropped a cube of fluker's in for my pinhead crickets that have hatched in my tank and the female snatched it and had it sticking out of her mouth for a minute before realizing it wasn't a bug and spitting it out.
