I have newts, axolotls and I had betta's ( including a sorority) and I am now venturing into inverts ... I have never had problems like this before. Perfectly healthy one moment and dead the next.
I wonder if I scared the little one to death, he was out swimming around while I was planting the tank then I came in a few minutes later and he was belly up on the bottom. Plants were grown emersed with no ferts so its nothing on them that killed him.
They are such wonderful animals ... Its sad its become like this.
I agree, it's a bummer. Seriously it sounds like you have the SAME issues I had. My two little ADF got sick within days of being purchased though they seemed active and ate way at first. They died mysteriously and some of my cardinal tetras (which are not overly cheap..) died too. Did you get yours from Petsmart by chance?
yes, They came from Petsmart. I tried to give my little ones the best, And not being able to find the third ... I don't have high hopes.
Well I found the third ... He was dead under a plantNo more ADF for me.
