Hey guys and gals so ive upgraded my new pacman to a 10 gallon tank.
Iam havingba little trouble maintaining humidity I kn8w a live plant could help. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Hello and welcome to FF! You could try with some Pothos, specially if trained to grow on walls away, from frog (use aquarium suction cups and trailing plant cord/tape) .
For maintaining humidity I find it easy after covering whole screen top with aluminum foil. Then trace the lamp fixture outline on foil with a sharpie. Lastly use scissors to cut around sharpie marker outline; but make hole 1 in. larger than marked perimeter for ventilation. Should be able to maintain humidity with couple day spraying after doing that. Also, make sure to use a water dish that is not too small. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
I agree with Carlos that pothos are good and I use them as well. Also make sure that you remove and shed leaves or any leaves that fall off because they are toxic.
why not get an ultrasonic mister? I bought a couple of cheap USB ones off ebay and they work brilliantly.
