    The media looks to dry to me. It's supposed to be like a kind of paste. How did you make the media?

    Jack is right. Your media is too dry. That's the reason why the flies could digg to the bottom.

    Shop made me like that... so add some water now or juice or its to late now?

    You could try adding more liquid and mix to make it into a paste but the flys that have buried themselves won't survive but don't worry as more will lay eggs in the media later.

    Also earlier you said that locusts were to big? You must have been looking at adults as the freshly hatched baby locusts are tiny like fruit flys.

    Thx mate for advice yes , I saw them really big ones . And read somwhere as well about that, they likes to hide and growing than . Maybe be alright with two types of fruit flies+ bean weewils + springtails. What do you think about aphyds ?

    I read somewhere is good food as well, even saw somewhere to buy, cannot find now .
