    Default Supplementation

Hi all, what does everyone use for supplements? I have calcium, calcium with D3, Minerall with D3, Minerall w/out D3 and some Reptivite. I rotate the Reptivite and Mineral with D3, using each about 2-3x per week (not a set schedule) and the calcium about 3x per week. Once in a while I use the calcium with D3 but I dont want to overdo the D3. I guess my real question is what vitamin supplement do most of you use? I think I have seen some specifically for frogs. Not sure what brand they were. I have always been a fan of Rep-Cal and Herptivite. ATM using the Reptivite as I got a ton of free samples at Daytona.

    Thanks,
    Carole

My adult male only eats like twice a week now so he gets one feeding calcium and one vitamins. My juvenile is on a two week feeding schedule. In that period she gets 5 calcium dustings, and two vitamin dustings with a day in between every dusting. My little one eats every night. What is the mineral stuff your yalking about?

Thank you. Minerall info can be found here http://www.stickytonguefarms.com/ind...mart&Itemid=81 It is minerals as opposed to vitamins. I have given it to my reptiles sporadically over the years.

Another thing is that my smaller frogs are shunning the dusted worms, particularly the small albino that has trouble "catching" worms. I find myself dusting the end of the worm that is sticking out of his mouth after he grabs it. I hope this is giving him enough. If I offer it dusted all over he wont take it. At least the new fantasy frog will eat dusted crickets and the occasional roach.

    Thanks again,
    Carole

I use Repashy products with these schedules: http://www.frogforum.net/food-feeder...schedules.html .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Only dust one end of the worm. Then offer the undusted side first.
