I got "Lucy" my Tomato Frog back in very early last spring, this is my first winter with Lucy who I love dearly and I get a bit over protective of her. She has burrowed before but I've always been able to see a small part of her popping up out of her soil and she would come out here and there. Lucy has now buried herself so good that she is not visible at all and she hasn't come out so, my question is, should I dig her up to check on her, feed her or just to make sure she's ok? <<worried Dad>>
Hi Gary, tomato frogs will bury themselves for several different reasons, the
temps may be too low or he is trying to retain moisture. what are the temps
now? what is the humidity?
