i just seen a bunch of tiny white larvae looking things in my toads water bowl.the only insects that have been in with them are crickets,fruit flies,mealworms ,and the asian ladybugs that have been getting into their enclosure.the toads do eat the ladybugs.
ive had the toads for 2 months.
this is my first post so i hope to recieve some good info from this site.thanks fellas!

. If on water surface they probably are inoffensive springtails and you should also see them around in the ground. That's the only thing can think off, that could be found in water bowl. If you rinse and refill it daily with dechlorinated water, no larvae should grow there.
