I wanted to catch a baby wild toad to raise but I'm worried that it may pass something one to my other pets. Obviously I won't let them interact with each other but I'm worried that this wild toad will somehow give my other pets a disease or parasites. Is there anyway to make the toad clean and disease/parasite free?

Where do you want to catch it ??
It is really not a nice thing to catch toads or frogs in the nature.
Be aware that amphibians are really species which are disappearing (Chytrids and other nightmares for them) and we should avoid to catch them in nature.

For example, Bufo bufo is a protected specie in France and it is not allowed to catch them or even to touch them.
Law says several months of jails and several kEuros of money to pay in case of.
But in France, there is the most severe law in the world to protect amphibians and reptiles and I think it's a good thing.

There are so much species you can find at pet stores and which are allowed to care as Bufo alvarius, cognatus, etc...etc...so why should you catch a protected one ?

Ok maybe I won't then. I was planning on catching it in my garden and hopefully raise it then once an adult put it back next to my pond so it could breed. I have been to St Tropez, Nice and other places in France loads(over 30 times) and always caught toads while I was there. I didn't realize that it was illegal. I always released them again though down in the stream I caught them in.

Yes in France it is illegal and there is a big risk for you.
I belong to some french forums for Amphibians and Reptiles and we always make advises on the forums to people who ask questions how to care species which are illegal to have at home.
All french amphibians and reptiles are protected.
Please, let them in nature (They become so rare) and go to species as cognatus, alvarius, etc...

It's ok I returned them all to the same place. I didn't keep them I just caught them, took photos and then put them back. In France I have caught green lizards, common lizards, geckos, tortoises, terrapins, toads, tree frogs and once an absolutely massive frog which I couldn't identify. It was the size of a bullfrog and could jump meters, I never figured out what it was.
