$10?? Wow! I got mine for 0,5 Euros (~0.7 $) each at a local fish club. Can´t you order some from private breeders, maybe via internet?
If you want to try the ghost shrimp, please be very attentive. The frogs do have a delicate skin, so even if they are unobservant for a short moment, there is a certain risk. I don´t mean that the shrimps need to be aggressive, but they might hurt a frog just by their normal foraging behaviour.

I want to try my hands with something less hard to find ... I would hate to kill something I worked so hard to find.
