It does, but I find the prices are usually better in the states anyway.More businesses and people, better rates. Harder to find deals where I live but there is a few baits shops I need to check out so who knows

$5 for a dozen isn't bad assuming they are big healthy worms. I can get a package for $4 at the local bait shop which are medium sized, while if I go around the corner I can pay $7 for a package of all really big worms so it all depends if you ask me.

They are all supposed to be around 3-4 inches. Unfortunately she doesn't have any at this time and says check back at a future date. So I'm going to check this other general store that is supposed to have fishing supplies and bait. We'll see! *fingers crossed*
With the lack of options to buy them why not raise your own? That way you know what they are being fed and that they are not exposed to anything that could hurt your frogs. It is an investment to get started with a colony that will provide enough to feed them off regularly but should be worth it in the long run. If my frogs would eat red wigglers I would never have to worry about food for them.

Well I found a site saying how to do it, so I may look into it. How to Start a Nightcrawler Farm | eHow the worm lady I found said she has none right now and to get a hold of her at a future date. Whenever the heck that is. So I found some at a general store carrying fishing bait. I asked my dad (who was the one there) to ask if they had any chemicals, ect in it. They said they got them from Toronto and had no idea...he bought them anyway. They carry a product they know nothing about other than its a worm. I thought law required more information on products these days, but I guess I'm wrong. Anyway he's stopping them off and I don't know if they are safe to use or even breed.
I sell safe European night crawlers ready to breed for 2 bucks a dozen. if you are buying them for 5 bucks you are getting ripped off.
