forgive me, but i am jumping ahead. i'm all covered up and just have to build the false bottom, install the heater, then add soil (my own blend) to both the terrestrial and aquatic portions. then i will cover the aquatic soil with Fluval Plant Stratum and i should be ready to plant. of course, i'm not ordering any plants until this weekend, since they would get stuck over the weekend, but i do have some plants i can place in there this weekend



oh, and i think at least one of you is wondering why i left the tree fern panels rectangular, when it looks so unnatural? because once that wall grows in, you will never even notice
