    Default Springtails everywhere!!!

Well obviously my springtail culture took off in my enclosure as I now have them not only under the leaf litter (which is good) but now they are massing on the wood items. Is there such a thing as too many that they would become an infestation? I'm trying to keep the ecosystem so that I don't have to change the substrate often. It's been set up for about 3 mos. I have a 18x18x24 falsebottom tank w/ one juvi Whites in it. Think they're too little for him to eat. Do I need to do anything & if so what? Thanks
