Hi! Im searching for health and illness books of amphibians. Anybody knows titles and place to find them? You would help me too much!
Not sure about one that goes into detail on disease states, but this one here is a formulary for exotic animal medicine including invertebrates:
Exotic Animal Formulary, 4e: James W. Carpenter: 9781437722642: Amazon.com: Books
I'm in my third year of pharmacy school, so obviously this one caught my eye
This one seems to be the standard reference for amphibian medicine, it's aimed at veterinarians and hence is pricey: Amphibian Medicine and Captive Husbandry: Brent R. Whitaker, Kevin N. Wright: 9780894649172: Amazon.com: Books
Here is a nice list. Also, think Amphibian Medicine and Captive Husbandry is a good one to begin with. Sadly, as all college books, they are very expensive .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Thank you so much!
Carlos you're right, they are very expensive. But i have found its price so logical. It's difficult to investigate so much info.
For all of you, i've just finish vet degree, and for this hobby I'd wanna get some books.
I'll consult that list!

Whitaker book is the ONE and only worth paying $ for.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
