My pet store carries feeders like crickets, horn worms, silk worms, butter worms, and I think that's it. As well as live fuzzies and frozen pinkies. Because its what's most often available, I usually feed my pacman and tomato frogs crickets. Occasionally giving them a horn worm. I'm told silk worms out of the 3 worms I mentioned are the most beneficial. But I don't know much about these feeders other than to give a variety. I was told by a person at the pet store that horn worms have a lot of nutrients in them for frogs and reptiles to benefit from but people at the herpcenter.com rated them lower on the feeder scale. I don't have access to roaches, which seem to be the best due to high meat/protein content. I'm interested in getting some of the pacman food either the samurai reptiles one of the zoo-med one. I can't even tell what's in samurai one cause its hard to find information on it. When I do find a little its of course in Japanese. Where is a good place to buy these? And how would you rate the feeders on protein/fat/general nutrition? thanks.
