Thank you guys both for your responses! :-) My room mate wants to know if there is any scientific proof that albinos require this type of light and that uvb/uva is in fact harmful to their eye sight and skin. Does any one have a link? Thanks. I didn't see a start below your posts so I could approve the response, maybe since I've been back I wasn't signed it I'll check now.

! Yes, as Dan stated, can't use daylight type bulbs on "Albinos" due to their sensitive skins and eyes. Can go for the red type bulbs and/or the black "moonlight" bulbs (look black off and dark purplish when on.). The red ones are better at illuminating the enclosure since the moonlight emits very little light. Both of them can be run 24 hours if needed to heat enclosure. Good luck!
