Here's my latest addition. A vivarium for some fire bellied toads. I added two last night and they seem to be doing well, I may add one or two more today.
It's a 15 gallon tank. The substrate is river rock (small pebbles). Behind the rock 'retaining wall' I piled up regular aquarium gravel and then topped it off with some Ecoearth. I do have some moss in there but I'm worried about impaction...I think it will be removed soon.
I've also got pothos in the water and a few live plants on the 'riverbank'. I put a little javafern in the water last night, hoping to add more today.
I bought a day glow bulb to help with the plants since they don't get much sun where the tank is now, but it is super bright! I think I need to find something with a slightly lower wattage, though the toads don't seem to mind. They certainly aren't avoiding the light.
This is my first time keeping this species so any suggestions would be appreciated

Vivarium looks nice and you got good ideas on what to change or improve, good luck with it!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Looks great ! I love my 5 FBT's, they love hiding in small nooks and vegetation, good thing is about FBT's is they are hardy and adapt very well. Good luck and give a shout should you need anything.
Thanks
So far I am really, really enjoying these little ones....wondering why I never tried keeping them earlier! They do seem to enjoy the light, both were basking in it this morning, from what I could tell.
Looks good! Very cool

Looks great! My only recommendation is to remove the loose moss of feeding in that area. Fire bellies are so cute and entertaining
. Great job!
