I've been applying regular neosporin but it doesn't seem to be having any effect yet.

I picked up "Anti-Microbial Silver Gel" from the local drug store.
Active ingredient is Silver Chloride.
All ingredients are: water, glycerine, polyacrylate polymer, cellulose gum, silver chloride, sodium chloride, cupric chloride.

Would this be safe to apply to the wound?

I'm a member of frogforum.net and was
wondering if you could help me out with an issue with one of
my milk frogs.

I was misting the tank this morning and noticed an odd
swelling on the side of one of the frogs mouths.

Was wondering if this should be treated or will heal on its
own and what could have possibly caused it.

She is as active as usual and does not look like she is in
pain, and is not displaying any strange behaviors that
I've seen yet.



All food is dusted with Repashy calcium plus, and none of
the other frogs are displaying anything similar.

Only recent changes to the tank have been switching from
coco fiber substrate to water.
