    Default Greys vs greens?

I can not seem to find any comparison care sheets or threads. Anyone who has had either or both could you help me? I just found out Green Tree Frogs are available locally and I have seen people talking about both however there is no in depth comparison and I want to make the right choice for me.

Im not 100% sure what your looking for as only you truly know what type of pet is right for you, but here are two links to previously posted care sheets on Whites and Greys, I hope this is what your looking for, if not I apologize. I am just looking to find out how different they are, Personality mostly, Appetite, Etc... I know the care is very similar. I already had determined grey are a great fit for me but if green are not that different then they would be a good fit as well I would assume.

I had a green for about a week. Towards the end of the week he was becoming slightly more active, but honestly he really just chilled in his favorite spot all day. He was not terribly active at night either. I had done some research and it seems like greys are more active. The green tree frog was very personable, and I did enjoy having him in the tank. I think I would get a grey just because they are supposed to be more active. I did only keep him a week before releasing him, so he might not have had enough time to get used to the tank. He did have a huge appetite, and feeding him was a blast.

I am a little worried about the huge appetite its hard for me to get to the pet store more often, Part of the problem is the greys are so hard to find I am not horribly worried about it being inactive ... As long as it warms up to the point it doesn't hide all day. That was the problem with my ACF.

Whether you choose the green or grey, each one has it’s own personality. Some are more “friendly” than others, but all of them basically hang out undercover if giving the nice full viv all day anyway since they are nocturnal. I’ve had the Cope’s, but my arm did not do well in captivity even though they were raised from tads. They always hung out on the very top trying to push their way out. To me that says “I want my freedom”. So after the 2nd year they were released. Now my neighbor has 3 that are so content and happy in their viv, & she absolutely LOVES them. They are always visible to her, and the males just calls & calls. I have 2 AGTF that I really enjoy, but they are for watching only. Not a lot of movement, but they are just so pretty to look at, and the viv has nicely grown in filling almost the whole tank. I don’t do pet store trips, I buy red runner roaches on line and just keep them in their own set-up. Much easier and economical doing it this way.
