Default At what point are froglets considered frogs?

Just curious to know when my froglets are considered to be frogs and not froglets?
They finished morphing in July, some are almost 2" and a few are still real small, only 1/2". The small ones are Baby, Hoppy and Shadoobie.
BTW- Shadoobie is now green and not poop brown, I'd like a few name suggestions.

WOW, where did you find this, it's great for names. Thanks I'll have to look through it again because it will take some time, but Shadoobie's gonna get a new name.

Same question as when does a puppy become a dog and when does a kitten become a cat. It is somewhat subjective. There isn't a hard and fast rule to go by.

They become frogs when they start earning their keep. IE, they can make babies and you can sell them to make a profit. Before that they're just little green sponges.

I personally go by size for my Pacific Chorus Frogs. If they are half their adult size or larger, they are no longer froglets to me. Of course, each frog grows at its own pace, so until the smaller ones catch up, it's easier to lump them all together as froglets. Though I think my big male, Yoki, took offense, as when I picked him up he peed on me!!

Ok that makes sense(thanks Jo-Anna & Seth) and I do think they are getting a bit "FULL"under their chins!LOL I'll drop a razor and shaving cream in the tank and see what happens..oh and I write out an explaination and put in in the tank for the shaving newbies! Then I'll comfirm if their frogs!LOL Thanks JimO for the advice!
Cheri I don't think I can sell them, sadly, but it would help and all my pets are sponges. Some did have babies and I did't have the heart to sell them to people I didn't know, so I gave them to people I did and got them all back again!OYE! It's why I have 9 bunnies!
    Thanks for all the input!
