Frog safe rubber cement

Got some pvc pipe to split up my reptifogger. It leaks a littlebit and was wondering what I could use to seal up the leaks.

100% silicone that you can buy in the hardware department of most places should work. Just make sure there's no fungicide in it (if it says 100% silicone that usually means it doesn't). You have to keep whatever you put it on completely dry for awhile, and let it set for a few days. Otherwise it'll react with the water and form acetic acid; you can actually smell the acetic acid as it sets that forms when it reacts with the water in the air. After it dries it's perfectly safe and nonreactive though.

This is what I used for some projects of mine. It works great, but it does have a curing period of 24 hours.

i used that plumbers tape??? whatever that is called, white tape looking thing that plumbers use to make pipes not leaking, anyhow i asked the guy what can i use, he gave me that at home depot.

Thanks for the links! Ide rather use a silicon than tape.

Silicon is great too, just do it away from animals and in well ventilated room or outside

Gold seal is expensive, but has no fumes and cures under water apparently. other than that HA6 silicone is £3 a tube on amazon.co.uk
