I am interested in getting a new Thermometer and Hygrometer for C. Cranwelli enclosure. I am leaning towards one with a probe as I figure it will be easier to read from outside the enclosure. One unit that does both would be nice but I am not to averse to having them separate. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Exo-Terra dual digital model with the probe. http://amzn.com/B001NOGK7Y
I was thinking about purchasing it but the reviews are all over the place. What about other suggestions? Anyone have a model they recommend?
Thanks,
Mike
Looks like I found my suggestion from Carlos. I guess I should have searched the forum longer. Thanks!

At it's price level; nothing matches the Exo Terra Digital Combo. When reading reviews at Amazon (or anywhere else) you have to discriminate and identify the useful ones. Recommend avoid any emotional reviews (either positive or negative) and the ones from "experts" reviewers who have hundreds of "paid" reviews after receiving a "free" product. A good review should limit itself to facts and specify the conditions stating how item was used and why user thinks its good or bad.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Is yours still working well for you?

Yes, both of mine are fine. One of them probes went underwater so thought it was toasted; but after drying it worked OK again.

Sounds good. Thanks.
