I have looked and not found any info on this. I do not really like to mix and match inside the tanks but for a temp solution can I mix two thumbnail PDF in a 18.18.24 tank?
The frogs are dendro Leucomelas frogs and Ranitomeya Imitator Tarapoto. This is just a temp solution until I can sell one of the species. There will be 3 dendros and 1 tarpoto.
Thanks for the reply.
I would not mix them if I were you. There is a chance of spreading pathogens, aggression/bullying, and stress issues that could be caused. If I were you, I would set up a nice temporary container with some moist sphagnum, a few plant clippings, and a very shallow water dish for your tarapoto. With thumbs being so tiny.. you would want to make sure that there are not any holes in the lid that it could escape from. I usually use a plastic storage container with a tight lid. It could be as small as a shoe box for that little guy.
Thanks. Now I will have to find a new home for my dendo leucomelas as I can only have 2 tanks in the house. I like the Tarapotos more. For now I put the tarapoto in a small temp cube that he is adjusting to well.
