Did you try touching them? The females are pretty protective of the babies at first.
I didn't try touching them but I lowered the lid too fast and she tried covering them

Neat. Haven't seen that but I did have a hungry bunch of marauders pull the egg sac out of a female and devour it once. I was like hmmm I better feed these guys now![]()
