Wondering about breeders in canada

hi just wondering what beeders there are in canada for frogs and toads.i dont want to go back to the pet store i bought my poor little frog from.i've bought fish from them that have died before and just incase its them and not me i thought i look for breeders in canada.i live in ontario and iam not sure what iam going to get yet, but wondering if any breeders on here are fellow canadians as well.

I would also love to hear about Canadian breeders. I live in BC but would be willing to pay for shipping if I could find a reputable frog breeder. The only frogs available in local pet stores are whites tree frogs, red eyed tree frogs, and green tree frogs. Most of them live in ecolusre full of geckos and/or anoles.

I'm not really sure about breeders in different countries, but I'll keep an eye out if something comes across my path whilst online.

hello,well is it possible to buy from the usa and have it shipped to canada. i mean is it legal?

i would rather get something from canada because of hopefully less travel time for the little guy.

and is it possible to go over to the states buy it there and just fly it home with me,returning from a vacation?

anyone know the legal stuff?

I am wondering about the Canada/US trade laws too. First I heard you can't send or receive reptiles or amphibs.....then it seemed you could. Any info would be nice.

It's not legal without export/import papers and veterinary inspections.

And if you come here buy something and bring it back with you on the plane, you could be in serious trouble when customs catches you with it back in Canadia.
