    Default Update on "The Bullfrog"

My still-nameless bullfrog is doing really well. He's pushing 2.5" or so at the moment and his appetite is absolutely insane. Seriously, I've lost count of the number of times my fingers have been attacked. And he tries to eat my gecko when she's just wandering around in her cage. Honestly I think he's a better eater than George is. In addition, he's probably grown about another half inch and bulked up a lot since I started feeding him Dubia roaches about two weeks ago!

How much crickets does he eat in a day. My bullfrog (Dwight) eats about 3.

He eats a couple Dubia roaches every day or two. Is Dwight still hungry after eating 3 crickets? I don't know how big Dwight is or how big the crickets are, but I think you may want to bump up the amount of food you give him.

My adult bullfrog can eat 10 medium crickets in one sitting. Probably more if I'd let her.

The little guys that are about 2-3 inches or so only get 3 or 4 medium crickets each. Sometimes 5.

I give them roaches sometimes. But I run out of those pretty quick because they are mainly fed to my bearded dragons. Once they are bigger I'll have more of the correct size to feed my frogs.

I'm happy your frog is eating well. I love it when they attack fingers. It's adorable!
