questions about WTF eggs and tadepoles.

when do white tree frogs lay eggs? my guess is summer since they like warm weather. how long before the eggs hatch? how long does the tadpole stage last? I read 16 weeks but also says depending on frog species. I know it takes 18 months for a wtf to be fully mature..so about a year to a year and a half before mine will be full grown and if he is really a boy make noise. he's not chatty right now in fact he hasn't made a peep.

In the wild, White's lay eggs from November to February, which is their local Summer. In order to get them to breed in captivity, you have to fatten them, induce aestivation, bring them out of it, fatten them again, and use a rain chamber to induce mating.

First thing to do obviously is becoming very good at keeping them healthy. While your frogs mature (it's recommended to wait until they are 3 years old before breeding), research and read as much as you can.
