Welcome to The FF, Happy Anniversary ! Glad you found us and your hobby again, this is a great place with great people.I am originally from Jersey (Exit 4 Cherry Hill) now in Maryland, where ya from in Jersey?
Just getting started with keeping frogs again, my wife gave me a terrarium as a 20th anniversary gift. Yay! Had many exotic pets in my single days.I'm sure I've forgotten a lot, so of course I'm here to ask lots of questions.

Hello and welcome to FF! Maybe this article will help you guys narrow down which species want to keep: Frog Forum - Choosing a Frog.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thank you Gary, 20 years sure fly by...thankfully in a wonderful way! I'm from Exit 15 E....In other words, Jersey City.
And thank you Carlos... already have my seemingly happy fire toad clan...hopefully they stay that way!I was disappointed to find out that the only crickets sold near me are african, which don't chirp...bummer my wife and I were looking forward to the sound! So much has changed!
Dave

~ Australian frogs Gotta love them
Thanks Jared.![]()
Careful with the African crickets! There are species that are very aggressive and can hurt frogs.

Wow! TY Carlos,
Great, now what. wax worms are too fatty to be a staple, mealworms are no good, feeder guppies can have parasites. Earthworms?
