Hum... that story about the cane toad eating the bat that "flew into it's mouth" and then later "flew away" after toad gave up on trying to eat it, is too far fetched to believe.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!

Careless wording, I'm sure. Marine toads, American Bullfrogs and others do take bats on occasion, many well-documented observations, some photos. I've worked with a number of bat species; all bite when grabbed. I'm guessing that toad grabbed the bat and then released when it was bitten. Best, Frank
